How are the coops delivered?

Rolloff Style Delivery: Our coops are delivered via Pickup Truck and 16 ft. Trailer using a convenient rolloff style method, ensuring safe transport and easy setup of our Fully Assembled Coops right in your backyard.

Please ensure at least a 10 ft wide opening through any gates and around obstacles and approx. 50 ft to pull out from underneath your Coop.

Are the coops designed to withstand transportation?

Absolutely. Our coops are engineered with trailering in mind. We routinely transport them over hundreds of miles at highway speeds without any issues. Rest assured, your coop will arrive safe and sound. If high winds are anticipated, we may advise rescheduling the delivery to ensure safety and prevent potential damage.

Are there any preparations I need to make before delivery?

Please ensure that the delivery path is clear of obstacles and that the ground is stable and level at the intended coop site. Please note, LynnLee Coops does not provide site preparation services, so ensuring your site is properly prepared in advance is essential. Proper preparation not only ensures a smooth delivery but also contributes to the longevity and cleanliness of your coop.

How should I prepare the base?

Some customers opt for a gravel base to provide a sturdy and secure foundation for their coop, while others prefer to place the coop directly on the ground without additional preparation. Adding a construction-grade sand substrate inside the coop offers a practical solution for easy cleanup, making daily maintenance more efficient and improving overall care for your chickens.

Do you add floors to your coops?

No, our coops are not designed with floors. Most coop customers choose to install a gravel base, which helps with predator prevention. Gravel is a safer option, as floors tend to attract more nuisances (like mice and snakes) rather than provide protection. However, if a floor is desired, it can be installed easily after delivery.
