What’s the difference between the Raised Floor and the Double Walk-In?
It comes down to one thing: the center wall. Same 6 × 11 footprint, same components, same build. The only question is whether that wall runs all the way to the ground — or whether the coop floor is lifted so the run keeps going underneath it. That single change is worth 4 more feet of run space on the Raised Floor.
The center wall stops partway up and the coop floor is lifted, so the run runs right under the coop instead of stopping at it. You get a full-height walk-in run the length of the coop — the most usable run space of any model we build.
The center wall runs floor to roof, splitting the footprint into two separate full-height rooms — a 4′ × 6′ coop on one side, a 6′ × 7′ run on the other, with a signature steel-frame door into each. Nothing sits underneath the coop.
Short version: if your flock spends most of the day inside the coop, the Raised Floor gives them the most run space we build. If you want to walk into the roost and the run as two separate full-height rooms, the Double Walk-In is the one.
Raised Floor
The Raised Floor features a full-height walk-in run with an elevated coop above — giving your flock more usable run space than any other LynnLee model. Designed to house up to 10–12 chickens when not free-ranging, the elevated coop includes Dura-Slat poultry flooring, a removable rubber mat, and a half-height steel clean-out door. Waste falls through the slats for faster cleanout, air moves up through the floor in summer heat, and the rubber mat still comes with it for winter warmth.
Double Walk-In
Our classic full-height coop + run combination — built for families who want full stand-up access to both the roost and the run. A full-height 4′ × 6′ coop plus a full-height 6′ × 7′ walk-in run, with two signature steel-frame doors: one to the coop, one to the run. Designed to house up to 8–10 chickens when not free-ranging, and up to 12 when paired with free-ranging.
Homestead Pro
Our largest, highest-capacity full-height coop — built for big, free-ranging flocks, growing homesteads, and families who want plenty of room now with space to grow. A stand-alone coop with no attached run, made for properties where chickens have pasture, a fenced yard, or an extended run. It supports flocks of 20+ chickens when paired with free-ranging, and it’s the only model that ships with two exterior nesting boxes — six spaces.
Little Homestead
Our standard full-height walk-in coop — built for families who want a true stand-up interior without a massive footprint or an attached run. Designed to roost up to 14–16 chickens when free-ranging, it’s ideal if you free-range your flock or already have a fenced yard, enclosed chicken yard, or extended run.
Dura-Slat poultry flooring.
A durable, non-porous slatted floor in the elevated coop area — built to move air, shed waste, and hold up to daily flock life.
The removable rubber mat is still included — over the slats in winter for a softer, insulated floor, out in warmer months to let the slats do their job.

The 4-Foot Run Extension fits the Raised Floor and Double Walk-In; the other four work with any model. Everything else — cedar, steel doors, metal roof, automatic door, solar lighting, acrylic-backed windows, nesting box — is already standard.
